For windows forms, use this when an instance is instantiated.

   SetStyle(ControlStyles.UserPaint, true);
   SetStyle(ControlStyles.AllPaintingInWmPaint, true);
   SetStyle(ControlStyles.DoubleBuffer, true);
   SetStyle(ControlStyles.UserPaint, true);
