Okay, here's the deal. If the SCO Group wins its
lawsuit, linux firms will consolidate, becoming stronger. Not all of the smaller ones will be able to afford licensing or 'royalties'. If the SCO intimidates linux users, Microsoft products will replace products of people who don't want the hassle of the SCO squabble. Why does the SCO want this? They are an outdated company, which can't perform in another sector well enough to earn money the old fashioned way. Just like another Wal-mart stomp victim looking for a meal ticket.
